Percy Langdon Wendell

Percy Langdon "Bullet" Wendell (July 16, 1889 – March 13, 1932) was an American football player and coach of football and basketball in the United States.
==Biography==
He was born on July 16, 1889 in Roxbury, Massachusetts to Frank Thaxter Wendell and Helen Stamford. He attended the Roxbury Latin School and attended Harvard from 1909 to 1913. He went on to attend two years of medical school.
He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1972. He was also the 16th head football coach for the Lehigh Mountain Hawks in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and he held that position for three seasons, from 1925 until 1927. His overall coaching record at Lehigh was 5 wins, 20 losses, and 2 ties. This ranks him 17th at Lehigh in terms of total wins and 26th at Lehigh in terms of winning percentage.
